Who is Hal?

His name is Herbert "Hal" Rosenthal. He is highly regarded as a consultant and as an expert witness in the area of economic damages assessment and fraud investigation in commercial litigation matters.

Hal is known for his ability to quickly get at the true facts of a case regardless of the impediments. His ability to communicate his findings in a clear and concise manner is much appreciated by jury members (as confirmed by jury exit polls) and other triers of fact.

He attributes his success over opposing experts who perhaps have greater experience in specific areas, to his emphasis on reality, on substance over form, on thoroughness and on maintaining and respecting what he calls "A View of the Jury." That, in addition to; his comprehensive and continuing real-world training and experience as a CPA (formerly in public practice), business/management consultant, Certified Fraud Examiner, expert witness, author, lecturer and (more recently) Certified Valuation Analyst.

Prior to specializing in Forensic Accounting Services, Hal spent twenty years managing his own public accounting firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, providing clients a full range of strategic business, tax planning and auditing services while being simultaneously involved in corporate management consulting and the development of more effective business management methodology for corporate America.

Graduate of Temple University, B.S. Business, Major in Accounting, US Army, Far East Command, Korea.
